[Remote] Data Conversion Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Grant Street Group is seeking a Data Conversion Analyst to join their team in migrating clients to their TaxSys software. The role involves analyzing data, preparing it for customer training, and ensuring quality assurance for data conversions, while also communicating effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare data for customer training, verification by customer subject matter experts, and TaxSys go-live
- Help reverse-engineer legacy tax data and write specs for conversion into TaxSys
- QA the results and refine the specs implemented by developers
- Track down bad customer data and figure out how it got that way
- Work on specs for developers, documentation status updates for management, and customer communications
Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in working directly with customers
- Experience with data mapping, specifications, and/or other deliverables for developers
- Analyzing data using SQL tools
- Experience with SQL
- Outstanding planning and time management skills
- Willingness to travel about 15% annually for face-to-face meetings with clients and colleagues
- Experience with ETL tool and/or dbVisualizer a plus
- Project management experience and desire to lead projects
