About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Hospital Financial Analyst to join our healthcare finance team. This remote role is ideal for a financial professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for improving healthcare operations through data-driven insights. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in healthcare finance and hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field.

Analyze financial data related to hospital operations, revenue cycles, patient billing, and cost containment
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders
Develop financial forecasts, models, and budgets to support hospital strategic planning
Collaborate with department heads to monitor and manage budget performance
Identify opportunities to optimize financial performance and improve reimbursement processes
Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting
Ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to accounting standards and healthcare regulations
Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership and executives

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare financial analyst role
Strong knowledge of healthcare financial systems, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SQL, AS400, Meditech, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Salary Range:

$70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)
