- Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments with healthcare providers.
- Manage and update electronic health records and scheduling software.
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling and reduce wait times.
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and appointment details.
- Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving scheduling processes and patient satisfaction.
- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare scheduling or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic demeanor.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic health records.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team.
- Flexible availability to work day or night shifts, including weekends if needed.
