We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Aide to join our team at Aetna, a leading healthcare provider. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Rooming patients, taking vital signs, and documenting demographics, insurance, medical history, and test results in our electronic health record system (EPIC)

  • Performing point-of-care testing for strep, flu, COVID-19, and other tests as required

  • Assisting with patient registration, managing the waiting room, and setting expectations for wait times

  • Providing clinical patient care within state guidelines and under the supervision of a MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

  • Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, including exam rooms and waiting areas

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • Recent experience in healthcare or completion of a relevant program (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT, PCT, Pharmacy Technician, Nursing Student)

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently

  • A Basic Life Support certification from the American Red Cross or an approved provider

Preferred qualifications include experience with electronic health records (e.g., EPIC) and a high school diploma or equivalent.
