Location: Remote/WFH (Part-time 4-6 hours a week with potential for up to 8-16 per week as needed)

Duration: 04 months+ Contract

We currently have a contract opportunity for a Consumer Goods Retail Sector SMR to lend specific subject matter knowledge around vendor negotiations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in vendor negotiations with large CPG brands
• Participate in the business development cycle
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the client
• Collaborate with the client team to ensure project goals are met
• Potentially travel up to once per month for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
• 10+ relevant years of experience in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector
• Prior vendor negotiation experience working at either a big box retailer, grocer, or quick serve company required
• Strongly preferred to have previously held roles as either a Buyer, Merchant, or Category Manager
• Ability to work 4-6 hours per week, with potential for up to 8-16 hours per week, as needed Apply Job!
