- Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Valid state licensure for social work
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in a school setting
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using virtual tools for counseling and support
- Location:
- Primarily based in Aztec, NM, with an option for virtual services
- Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral issues
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement IEP goals and strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet diverse needs
- Facilitate training and resources for staff on social-emotional learning and strategies
- Engage with families to provide insights and resources for supporting student success
- Document and maintain accurate records of interventions and student progress
