Seeking 2D Whimsical Children’s Book Illustrator (Full Book + Cover)
I am seeking a 2D illustrator for a 36-page full-color children’s picture book (ages 3–7), 8.5" x 8.5" trim size, including front cover, spine, and back cover.
I am looking for a whimsical, colorful, bright, and expressive style with consistent character design across all pages. I have AI-generated sample images that reflect the look and personality I envision for the characters, and these will be provided as visual reference only. Final artwork must be fully original and hand-illustrated; AI-generated artwork is not permitted for final deliverables.NO AI-generated images.
The project includes:
- Interior illustrations
- Full cover design (front, spine, and back)
- Placement and formatting of final edited text within each page layout

Technical Requirements:
- Full-color CMYK
- 300 dpi resolution
- Interior pages must be built at 8.75” x 8.75” (including 0.125” bleed on all sides) for a final trim size of 8.5” x 8.5”
- All important text and artwork must remain safely inside trim margins
- Final files must be print-ready for IngramSpark and Amazon KDP
