About the Position


The Senior Admin, ITOC, is a pivotal technical role responsible for the administration and support of systems across a multi-site environment. Key responsibilities include managing major incidents, guiding team members, and ensuring the integrity and availability of systems, all while providing exceptional support to end-users and business teams.


Responsibilities



  • Manage, coordinate, and communicate all Priority 1 incidents to resolution.

  • Guide and coach ITOC team members in analyst and admin roles to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Handle escalations and senior leader communications with professionalism and tact.

  • Perform daily system monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of all systems.

  • Review system and application logs to ensure the completion of scheduled jobs.

  • Administer and monitor corporate and managed services cloud-based systems for optimal performance.

  • Develop, maintain, and utilize automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, and other relevant tools.

  • Assist with patch management in production environments to ensure system security and stability.

  • Create and maintain configuration documentation, system and operations documentation, and knowledge base articles for future reference.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for outages and escalations, assisting Incident Managers in emergency scenarios.

  • Monitor the ticket tracking system for newly assigned tasks and prioritize them effectively.

  • Monitor and report on all networks, systems, and applications in a 24x7 operations center to ensure continuous operation.

  • Handle routine operations requests such as adding new users and restarting services efficiently.

  • Implement and follow all policies and procedures for monitoring, testing product availability, and incident management to maintain high standards.


Requirements



  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on technical administration and support.

  • Prior experience with major incident management programs is highly desirable.

  • Experience with NOC tools, network management systems, and escalation procedures is essential.

  • Solid understanding of Windows administration and application resource utilization monitoring.

  • Solid understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting skills, including DNS, IP, and network hardware.

  • Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure - Active Directory domains, DNS, DHCP, Windows Security, Group Policies, etc.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization software, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

  • Experience in managing and supporting virtualized environments in VMWare.

  • Basic understanding of load-balancers and web session state troubleshooting.

  • Ability to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions to improve systems and processes.

  • Experience supporting web application solutions including PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven decision-making abilities and a self-starter mindset.

  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
