Senior Claims Representative - Property Desk Adjuster

Description:
• Resolve assigned claims accurately, timely, and fairly.
• Act as the primary point of contact to investigate first party homeowner property losses.
• Effectively communicate with policyholders, agents, and service providers.
• Manage pending claims at varying stages in the claims process.
• Interpret and apply details of an insurance policy.
• Understand computer generated loss estimates and construction terminology.
• Update and maintain comprehensive claim handling notations.

Requirements:
• Proven track record of handling represented claims and homeowner property losses.
• Previous field adjusting and/or construction experience is extremely valuable.
• Solid technical background with an excellent understanding of loss estimating and homeowner policy coverages.
• Comfortable working in a metrics driven claims environment.
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Licensed or eligible for licensing as an adjuster in TX, FL, NY, MA, and AL.
