Are you an experienced claims professional ready to take your expertise to the next level? We’re looking for a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Specialist who thrives on managing complex cases and delivering results. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping outcomes for high-profile claims while making a real impact for our clients.
- What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage complex Workers’ Compensation claims from start to finish.
- Analyze policy coverages to determine claim validity and compensability, filing required documents with state agencies.
- Partner with case managers to design strategic action plans that reduce overall claim costs.
- Serve as the main point of contact—communicating claim status to customers, claimants, and clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys, manage subrogation, negotiate settlements, and oversee recoveries.
- Mentor and support team members, sharing your expertise to strengthen claims knowledge across the team.
- Consistently exceed performance expectations while following client and carrier guidelines.
- What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years managing complex Workers’ Compensation claims in California.
- Deep knowledge of Workers’ Compensation administration, case management, and cost-containment strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and comfortable with multi-monitor setups.
- Passion for mentoring and guiding team members to success.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
