- React – Must Have
- This is the core framework being used.
- It defines the architecture, component model, lifecycle, and state management for the project.
- Senior engineers are expected to already be highly fluent in React.
- TypeScript – Strongly Preferred to Must Have
- TypeScript is often a project-wide standard in modern enterprise front-end development.
- It’s tightly integrated into most React codebases today for type safety and better tooling.
- You could be slightly flexible if someone is a React expert and has strong JavaScript fundamentals—but ideally they should be at least TypeScript-proficient.
- JSX – Inherent in React
- JSX is the templating syntax used with React, so if someone knows React, they’ll automatically be familiar with JSX.
- It’s not something you would test for separately.
