Responsibilities include conducting one-on-one virtual makeup consultations, providing personalized product recommendations, and demonstrating application techniques via video calls. You will create and curate engaging beauty content for social media platforms, tutorials, and website features, showcasing your artistry and product knowledge. Developing personalized skincare and makeup routines for clients based on their individual needs, skin types, and preferences will be a key function. You will stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, product innovations, and application techniques, sharing your insights with the team and clients.

This role involves collaborating with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute online beauty campaigns and promotions. You will assist in product development by providing feedback on existing products and insights into consumer desires. Educating clients on the proper use and benefits of beauty products, ensuring they achieve optimal results, is crucial. Building and nurturing a loyal client base through exceptional service and personalized engagement will be a primary goal. Maintaining a high standard of artistry and professionalism in all client interactions is essential. You may also be involved in training junior artists or contributing to virtual workshops.

To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a makeup artist, with a significant portion focused on client consultations and advisory roles. A strong portfolio showcasing diverse makeup artistry skills is required. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential for virtual client interaction. Demonstrated ability to provide personalized beauty recommendations and create effective makeup tutorials. Proficiency with video conferencing tools and social media platforms is a must. Knowledge of skincare principles and various beauty brands is highly desirable. A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to continuous learning are necessary. While this role is remote, occasional travel for content creation or team meetings may be required.
