About the role
We are seeking a senior revenue manager to support the accounting and revenue operations team during a medical leave coverage for 4 months. The ideal consultant will bring strong revenue accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist with review and preparation of revenue close‑related activities, such as reviewing contracts with customers, validating sales orders, reviewing and calculating commissions, preparing revenue checklists, etc.
- Maintain and refresh Excel models to calculate RPO (remaining performance obligation).
- Review contracts with customers to identify key revenue recognition considerations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as finance, legal, sales, revenue operations, etc.
- Leverage systems such as NetSuite ARM and Salesforce for revenue tracking and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data used for management reporting and disclosures.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong attention to detail across deliverables.
- Qualifications
- 7+ years of combined experience in revenue accounting and public accounting.
- Experience working with SaaS and publicly traded companies.
- Strong understanding of RPO revenue recognition.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to review, understand, modify, and use complex formulas and functions.
- NetSuite, NetSuite ARM and Salesforce experience required.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables across multiple teams.
