Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester to join our team. In this role, you will provide testing expertise to ensure software and hardware applications meet quality standards. You will develop detailed test plans, leverage automation tools, and translate user requirements into effective test cases.
Your leadership will help improve testing processes and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that align with enterprise architecture and reference models.
Education Requirements A bachelorâs degree is required for this role, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirements
This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active IRS MBI Public Trust clearance.
Work Arrangement
- This is a remote position.Responsibilities
- Prepares detailed specifications for test plans and procedures
- Leverages automation technology wherever possible to execute testing
- Translates user requirements into test cases
- Tests, monitors, and refines software/hardware applications to ensure they meet quality standards
- Prepares required documentation, including both test-level and user-level documentation
- Enhances testing processes to improve efficiency and performance, including automation integration
- Provides leadership and direction to QA teams to ensure program deadlines are met
- Applies principles, methods, and knowledge of quality assurance to task order requirements
- Ensures compliance with enterprise architecture and applicable reference models
- Evaluates and addresses workflow, organizational, and planning issues
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree and 7 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and procedures
- Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and methodologies
- Ability to translate user requirements into comprehensive test cases
- Experience in monitoring and refining software/hardware applications for quality
- Excellent documentation skills for test plans, procedures, and user guides
- Leadership experience in guiding QA teams to meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and reference models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with continuous integration and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to evaluate workflow and organizational processes for improvement
