- About the Role
- We are looking for a Senior Web3 & Blockchain Engineer to join our distributed team and help design, build, and refine production-grade Web3 platforms.
- This role is ideal for a senior engineer who:
- Is comfortable working across smart contracts, backend services, and frontend dApps
- Values clean architecture, security, and maintainable systems
- Enjoys collaborating with engineers, product leaders, and designers
- Takes ownership and treats product quality and security as shared responsibilities
- You will play a key role in translating business and product requirements into secure, scalable Web3 solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Web3 & Blockchain Development
- Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts and blockchain integrations
- Build and integrate Web3 APIs, services, and backend systems
- Develop and maintain dApp frontends with a strong focus on usability and reliability
- Work with wallets, signing flows, and on-chain/off-chain interactions
- System Quality & Security
- Ensure smart contract security, performance, and correctness
- Improve existing codebases for scalability, clarity, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices around Web3 security and architecture
- Collaboration & Ownership
- Work closely with cross-functional teams as a true technical partner
- Clearly communicate technical decisions and progress in a remote environment
- Proactively suggest improvements to product design, architecture, and workflows
- Required Qualifications
- 4ā6+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on Web3 / blockchain development
- Strong experience with Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
- Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development
- Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React)
- Backend experience with Node.js or similar technologies
- Experience working on production systems with real users
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fully remote setting
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or on-chain marketplaces
- Familiarity with Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, or other L2s
- Experience with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, wagmi, etc.)
- Understanding of smart contract auditing and security best practices
- Experience in early-stage or small, collaborative engineering teams
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity
- Engagement Details
- Weekly Compensation: $3,000 ā $3,500 USD (depending on experience and scope)
- Payment: USD or cryptocurrency (USDC / USDT / ETH ā flexible)
- Time commitment: ~15ā25 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote
- Engagement type: Contract, with potential for long-term or extended collaboration
