Software Development India Description T his role is part of Genpact’s Experience team , the capability focused on designing and improving the platforms, interactions, and journeys employees and customers use every day. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps. Modify and customize existing Shopify themes according to project requirements. Integrate third-party APIs and Shopify apps as needed. Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner. Implement and test new features to enhance user experience. Stay updated with Shopify updates, best practices, and new technologies. Requirements:- Strong knowledge of Shopify’s Liquid templating language. Proven experience as a Shopify Developer (5+ years preferred). Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Familiarity with Shopify Plus (preferred, not mandatory). Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party app integrations. Understanding of SEO best practices and site performance optimization. Experience with version control (e.g., Git). Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with headless commerce using Shopify (e.g., Hydrogen/Storefront API). Familiarity with React, Node.js, or similar frameworks. Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
