The client operates a plastic surgery recovery house focused on providing a comfortable and supportive experience for post operative patients. Their business relies heavily on social media presence to educate potential clients, build trust, and attract new leads through engaging visual content. The client is hands-on with content approval and already creates original video material, Q&A content, and educational resources that will be transformed into polished social media assets. They are looking for a dependable and creative professional who can help elevate their online presence and maintain consistent engagement across platforms.
About the Role:
The client is seeking a part time Social Media Specialist to support the creation, editing, scheduling, and management of social media content. This role will focus on turning raw content provided by the client into engaging reels, graphics, and posts aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and messaging. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, reliable, and experienced in social media management, with the ability to proactively contribute ideas that help grow the client’s visibility and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Editing
Create engaging social media posts, reels, and graphics using content provided by the client
Edit short form videos for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
Design static and motion based content aligned with the client’s branding and aesthetic
Incorporate educational and promotional messaging into visual content
Social Media Management
Schedule and publish content across social media platforms
Maintain consistency in posting schedules and brand presentation
Organize and manage content assets efficiently
Support ongoing audience engagement efforts through creative content ideas
Creative Support
Research trends, ideas, and content inspiration within the wellness, beauty, and medical industries
Suggest new creative concepts to improve social media performance and visibility
Adapt content styles based on client feedback and brand direction
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain regular communication with the client during working hours
Submit content for approval in a timely manner
Implement revisions quickly and accurately
Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and responsiveness in daily tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Must
2+ years of experience in social media management or content creation
Experience editing short form video content and creating reels
Basic to intermediate graphic design skills
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and content management platforms
Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and audience engagement
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines consistently
Preferred
Experience supporting wellness, beauty, cosmetic, or medical related businesses
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing tools
Experience creating educational and promotional social media content
Portfolio showcasing previous social media work and content aesthetics
Understanding of current social media trends and platform best practices
