About the position
- Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough sound checks and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate a variety of audio equipment, including mixers, recorders, and microphones.
- Record, edit, and mix audio for TV/Film productions, including dialogue, FX, and music.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that the audio aligns with the visual elements of the project.
- Collaborate with the editor to ensure seamless integration of audio into the final product.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing production schedules.
- Ensure that all audio recordings meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time.
- Requirements
- Strong knowledge of audio signal processing and post-production techniques.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Avid.
- Experience with video production and videography.
- Ability to create high-quality content for various formats, including TV, film, and digital platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of film and TV production techniques and terminology.
