Pay Range: $35 - $39 per hour
Job Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Remote Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a contract position in Harrisonburg, VA. This role will involve direct consultation with students and case management for an early childhood caseload of roughly 12 students. We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and is available through June 5, 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction and consultation to early childhood students with disabilities.
Manage the caseload, ensuring all services are delivered effectively and in compliance with IEPs.
Conduct virtual meetings and provide support to students, families, and staff.
Collaborate with parents, school teams, and other professionals to ensure student success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and IEP documentation in the Virginia IEP system.
Requirements:
Current Special Education (SPED) license (General SPED license is acceptable).
VA Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) license is highly preferred.
Previous experience with virtual teaching or consultation is a must.
Familiarity with Virginia IEP system is necessary.
Experience with early childhood special education, particularly with students in preschool or early elementary settings.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage case loads remotely.
