Senior Analyst, Global Portfolio Strategy – Portfolio Assessment Analytics, MTST
Location: Raritan, NJ (alternative locations considered)
Duration: Limited duration, full-time role ending December 31, 2026
Role Purpose
The Senior Analyst, Global Portfolio Strategy – Portfolio Assessment Analytics is an execution‑focused role supporting a finite portfolio assessment initiative that concludes in 2026.
The analyst is responsible for performing detailed analyses using existing data to support identification of product codes for optimization or discontinuation and to quantify margin and gross profit opportunity associated with those actions. All deliverables are expected to be completed and finalized by year‑end 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Extract, clean, and analyze existing commercial, financial, and operational datasets
Build detailed SKU‑ and code‑level analyses (volume, revenue, margin, gross profit, cost‑to‑serve)
Quantify margin and gross profit opportunity associated with portfolio optimization or discontinuation scenarios
Develop financial models and analytical tools using Excel, Power Query, Python, and Power BI
Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses as directed by the Senior Manager
Clearly document assumptions, methodologies, and data sources
Prepare structured tables, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review
Support ad‑hoc analytical requests related to the 2026 portfolio assessment effort
Ensure all analyses and outputs are finalized and complete by December 31, 2026
Qualifications
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or University degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
Required:
A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in analytics, FP&A, finance, or commercial analysis
Strong quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work with incomplete data while clearly documenting assumptions
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
Experience with Power Query, Python, and Power BI
Exposure to portfolio, SKU, or margin analytics
Experience in a regulated or healthcare environment
Other:
May require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$94,000.00 - $151,800.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
