Sr Payroll Specialist
Allied Roofing Partners (ARP) – Remote
Allied Roofing Partners (ARP) is seeking an experienced Sr Payroll Specialist who is bilingual in English / Spanish to support payroll operations across our growing portfolio of roofing companies nationwide. This role will oversee complex multi-state payroll processing, payroll compliance, payroll integrations for acquisitions, and employee payroll support in a fast-paced growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
Process weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple companies and states
Manage payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including commissions, bonuses, draws, deductions, PTO accruals, and reimbursements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including California wage and hour laws
Support payroll integrations and payroll transitions for newly acquired companies
Review payroll data, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end payroll processing
Coordinate payroll tax registrations, notices, and multi-state payroll compliance requirements
Assist with timecard management for field-based hourly employees
Support BambooHR Payroll administration, payroll reporting, and payroll process improvements
Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions and support
Qualifications
5+ years of multi-state payroll experience
Bilingual in English / Spanish is required
Experience processing payroll across multiple EINs and payroll schedules
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and wage and hour laws
California payroll experience strongly preferred
Experience with commissions, bonuses, deductions, and complex payroll structures
Experience with payroll systems such as BambooHR or similar HRIS/payroll platforms
Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with payroll integrations, acquisitions, or payroll conversions is highly preferred
Construction, field workforce, or multi-location company experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
$93,000 – $120,000 annually

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have a professional home office setup, reliable high-speed internet, and the ability to participate in video meetings and utilize company communication systems effectively. Candidates located within the Central Time Zone are strongly preferred to support multiple U.S. operating locations.
