Remote Contract Role: HR, Payroll, and Benefits Administrator

This open-ended role provides HR, Payroll, and Benefits administration to backfill an employee on leave. Responsibilities include:

Payroll Administration:
• Prepare and audit weekly/biweekly payroll.
• Process personnel transactions (new hires, terminations, status changes, deductions, etc.).
• Audit time and attendance, reconcile variances, and process employee data changes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and state/federal laws.
• Address employee pay inquiries and administer payroll reports.
• Manage tax filings, employment verifications, garnishments, and liens.

HR Administration:
• Maintain and audit employee data and records for accuracy.
• Run compensation and HRIS reports.
• Support HR projects and services.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of payroll experience with strong knowledge of Paylocity.
• In-depth understanding of state/federal employment laws and benefit processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage priorities.
• Strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, including outside regular hours if needed.
