About the Position

As a Student Success Advocate, you will support our students by addressing their academic needs. This individual will work closely with our administration team to support business operations. The purpose of this role is to provide essential support to our administration team and advocate for our students with disabilities.

You will be working with these students to facilitate access to community resources and ensure our students are engaged within the community. You will also act as a liaison between students, families, and the school community. You will also assist your managers/team members with tasks on projects by resolving operational and administrative issues when or before they arise.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Connect students and families with appropriate resources, aid, or community organizations.
  • Track student attendance, behavior, and academic performance, and intervene as needed.
  • Advocate for students' needs within the school community and with external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and initiatives to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to student progress and program outcomes.
  • Reach out to families to confirm quality of lessons and feedback about student engagement
  • Stay in contact with families regarding accommodations required and navigating scheduling around life events.
  • Locate events in the regions of our students to assist with getting involved with community events
  • Assisting with communications, email management, and/or meeting materials (such as presentations, spreadsheets, and documents) as requested
  • Coordinate with the Administration team for management meetings, backup support, and file management.
  • Following up with the field staff to ensure they are reaching out promptly to the families
    Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with students, families, and staff.
  • The ability to build rapport with students and establish trusting relationships with families
  • The ability to identify and address student challenges effectively.
  • Experience with ADA, ABA, and any related work (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
  • The ability to manage a caseload of students, track data, and prioritize tasks.
  • Understanding of school policies, procedures, and resources.
  • The ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Community Outreach/Resource Management (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
  • Bilingual Spanish
