Technical Architect - B2B Commerce

We are looking for a B2B Commerce Technical Architect to help us support our continued growth. The B2B Commerce Technical Architect is responsible for helping to drive deep technology conversations with customers. This person will help customers and prospects assess their current technical state, both from a Salesforce and from an overall perspective.

Role Responsibilities:

The Technical Architect will assist in creating a technical roadmap that will ensure a company has the technical infrastructure in place to help solve customer business problems.

Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps in current/future state solutions

Help drive some of Salesforce's largest, most strategic opportunities by segment or industry verticals and ensure the technical win in top accounts.

Work effectively individually and with Coastal and client members toward customer satisfaction and success

Design and implement data structure, flows, Apex classes, and Lightning components to support application build as needed.

Assist with and manage source control/devops workflows and review code to ensure development quality, and manage and oversee deployments

Takes direction from project team members and immediate supervisor

Demonstrates a basic level of knowledge of common enterprise systems CRM or ERP

Seeks opportunities to develop professional skills

Achieves necessary technical certifications

Travels with client or project team as needed

Demonstrates the ability to perform Salesforce.com administration / configuration / data migration duties as directed

Experience/Skills Required:

A minimum of 3 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF), integrations, and developing and executing data migrations

A minimum of 2 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations

A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects

Extensive experience with Salesforce products including B2B/D2C Commerce, Order Management, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Revenue Cloud desired

Minimum of an active Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer II Certifications required

B2B Commerce and/or OMS Developer & Admin Accreditations strongly preferred

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices

Understanding and experience with platform authentication patterns, platform security and sharing methods

Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems

Experience with DevOps tools like Gearset or Copado

Knowledge of XML, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, and EAI processes

Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies

Programming Languages – APEX, VisualForce, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE

Must have full-time permanent US work authorization

Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Level 2 or Level 3 Salesforce Certifications
