- Abe to identify opportunities, constructively navigate controversial issues, and influence senior management on relevant topics
- Deals with abstract issues and develop associated plans and strategies to address. Utilizes problem solving and intervention techniques to assist with resolution of organizational issues
- Facilitates and negotiates agreed-to solutions
Job Description
The Technical Assistant (TA) to the Vice President (VP), Global Supply Chain Operations oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing Enterprise Operations (EO) Supply Chain execution and serves as a liaison between the EO Global Supply Chain Vice President, Business Area (BA) Supply Chain organizations and additional cross-functional key stakeholders. The Global Supply Chain TA coordinates with internal stakeholders to identify gaps and pain points within the organization and takes steps to facilitate the development of enterprise solutions. The Global Supply Chain TA also facilitates prioritization of EO Global Supply Chain Vice President needs back to the Supply Chain Council, GSCO, and BA leaders. The Global Supply Chain TA will work closely on Supply Chain Strategy Transformation efforts in support of execution and ongoing executive leadership alignment.
This role requires a strong executive presence with experience coordinating across multiple teams to achieve the desired result. Also requires communication and integration with EO functions and executives across LM.
The Global Supply Chain TA's impact is critical across LM at both the Enterprise and BA levels. TA is involved in key functional strategic goals and provides executive level support for critical customer engagements and industry wide issues. Failure to achieve results impacts Supply Chain Performance across the company and can impact long term company wide goals.
This is a rotational assignment with anticipated duration of 18-30 months. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a virtual work environment with a willingness to travel (25%-50%)

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
