Technical Sales Analyst
- Job Description:
- Deliver engaging presentations to showcase the capabilities and features of our software to clients and stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather user feedback and identify areas for software improvement
- Provide technical assistance to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering guidance on Geoscience software utilization
- Prepare marketing materials and showcase our software in an engaging way to both new and existing clients
- Collaborate with the product development team to streamline geological workflows
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of our software to ensure accuracy, reliability, and user-friendliness
- Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Engineering
- Intermediate to Advanced ability with StarSteer geosteering software
- Strong knowledge of drilling operations and geology-focused workflows
- Geologic knowledge of a variety of North American plays and play types
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Experience creating and delivering presentations
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Docs
- Additional beneficial experience: Working knowledge of Python
- Experience with geoscience software (Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, etc)
- Computer science and/or IT troubleshooting experience
- Customer service experience
