TEMP Position for Occupational Therapist (OT) - 10 Week School Contract - Lewisville, TX
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a temporary 10-week contract supporting students in the Lewisville, Texas area. This position is ideal for a licensed OT with school-based experience who is ready to make an impact in a short-term role.
- Position Details:
- Contract Length: 10 weeks
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday during school hours
- Location: School-based position in Lewisville, TX
- Pay Rate: Starting at $45/hour, with higher rates available based on experience
- Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain required records and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on accommodations and strategies
- Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas OT license
- Previous school-based experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly integrate into a school team and manage a caseload independently
