We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Soar Autism Center. As an Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and their families. Role Overview:


In this role, you will:



  • Implement naturalistic occupational therapy for children aged 2-6 years in a center-based setting, with a focus on autism

  • Develop and implement interventions aimed at improving gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding practices, and daily living activities tailored to the needs of children with autism

  • Collaborate with other clinical areas, including ABA, speech therapy, and psychology, to develop comprehensive treatment plans and provide co-treatments with speech therapists

  • Mentor and guide a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to integrate OT goals into their therapy, enhancing their approach to autism care

  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate necessary adjustments to team members and families

  • Build strong relationships with families, setting goals, sharing progress, and providing coaching and support on their journey


Qualifications:



  • Degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist

  • Experience working with children with autism or related developmental disorders

  • Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism
