Job Description:

As a Travel Consultant, you will be part of a dynamic, fully remote team supporting corporate business clients with their travel needs. Our team prides itself on its warm, inclusive culture and forward-thinking in travel technology. Career growth is a strong part of our culture—many of our Traveler Care leaders began in this very role and have grown into diverse departments across Amex GBT.

    What you’ll be doing:
  • Advise and arrange domestic and international travel for corporate customers, including individual and group bookings.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to provide the best travel options and proactively offer additional travel-related services.
  • Book complex business travel across air, rail, road, and accommodations.
  • Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS), with native expertise in APOLLO.
  • Ensure full compliance with client travel policies, supplier policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Handle special customer requests with a proactive and positive approach using professional telephone service techniques.
  • Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor, and deliver feedback to continuously improve service standards.
  • Additional job responsibilities and key performance indicators (KPIs) will be shared during the interview process.
    What You Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on experience with the APOLLO GDS system (this is a hard requirement).
  • Demonstrated experience in international corporate travel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for delivering excellent client service with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive traveler information with integrity.
  • Solid understanding of the travel industry, including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.
  • Proven ability to independently resolve issues or collaborate with suppliers to address customer concerns.
  • Strong teamwork ethic and openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
    Added bonus if you have:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required (No Green Card holders, due to client’s government contract).
  • Applicants will be subject to an additional government security clearance post-onboarding, which will be coordinated by GBT.

Note: Please ensure your resume reflects your APOLLO experience clearly and includes your shift availability below your name.
