Travel Telemetry RN in Powell, TN
A rewarding role is available for an experienced RN with Telemetry skills to provide expert nursing care within a specialized Cardiac Unit. - Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or cardiac specialty units
- Current BLS certification from AHA and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to assignment start
- Comfortable working with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:7 to 1:8, possibly operating within a team nursing model
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
- Reliable attendance with weekend shifts every other weekend or 2 per month
- Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Specialty Unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry equipment accurately to assess patient cardiac functions
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including documentation and compliance requirements
- Participate in bi-weekly orientation and maintain readiness for a 3 x 12-hour day shift schedule (07:00 – 19:30)

- No on-call duties required
- Travelers should note that holiday time off requests during specified periods may not be accommodated; these can be discussed on-site with the nurse manager after assignment commencement
