Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Connecticut? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative special education teacher to join our virtual team. YouÂll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, youÂll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.Key Responsibilities:
 Provide virtual instruction and support to K-12 students with special needs.
 Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff.
 Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs.
 Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
 Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success.
 Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students.
 Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications:
 BachelorÂs or MasterÂs degree in Special Education.
 Active Connecticut Special Education teaching license
 Experience working with IEPs and various student needs
 Preferably experienced in virtual teaching or online learning platforms
 Professional liability insurance
