US Based Enrolled Agent Needed for Tax Prep - Long Term

We're seeking an Enrolled Agent that is based in the US that is detail-oriented, analytical professional and has a passion for helping small business owners navigate their taxes and SAVE MONEY. Remote work. This is a fantastic opportunity for Licensed Enrolled Agents seeking a flexible, high-impact role year round.
• **Disclosure: This is our first year doing tax preparation. This is our 11th year in business.

We are looking for someone that can grow in this role.

Position Overview
• Job Title: Enrolled Agent.
• Employment Type: Part-Time to Full Time.
• Hours: As needed. Projecting Part-time hours (e.g., 5-25 hours weekly as we grow.)
• Location: remote only.
• Compensation: 30% of Fees Equivalent to $30-35/hr.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and file accurate federal and state income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Analyze financial records, such as income statements and expense documentation, to identify applicable deductions, credits, and exemptions.
• Ensure all tax filings comply with current IRS and state tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations through continuing professional education.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Enrolled Agents Required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of paid experience preparing federal and state tax returns using professional software.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Intuit ProConnect tax preparation software required.

Soft Skills:
• Attention to Detail: Paramount for ensuring accuracy and avoiding errors.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and complex regulations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
• Time Management: Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
