# U.S. Beauty Marketing Lead / Fractional CMO for Premium K-Beauty DTC Brand
We’re looking for a U.S.-native beauty marketing lead or fractional CMO to help lead the American-facing marketing layer for BusanBare, a premium DTC beauty brand built around made-in-Korea, patented beauty products that solve real problems.
This is not a generic marketing role.
We need someone who deeply understands how American women 18-34 shop, talk, scroll, compare, and buy beauty in 2026. Think Sephora / Ulta / DTC beauty voice, not translated ecommerce copy, not stiff agency language, and not generic “clean beauty” filler.
Our current bottleneck is U.S. beauty taste and execution. We already have strong product seeding, influencer outreach, affiliate/referral pipeline, dev, and fulfillment infrastructure. What we need is the person who makes sure the brand sounds, looks, and sells like a real modern American beauty brand.
## What You’ll Own
You’ll help lead the U.S. beauty voice and marketing execution across:
- Paid ad hooks, scripts, angles, captions, and creative briefs
- Landing page copy, page angles, offer framing, and conversion direction
- Social content direction and post/caption copy
- Website and product page copy
- Email/SMS copy review and rewrite suggestions
- UGC direction using raw influencer/customer content
- Creative concepts for Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and email
- Weekly marketing angle testing around products, pain points, and audience segments
- Making sure everything sounds like real American beauty customers would actually care about
You do not need to personally manage product seeding, influencer outreach, dev, or paid media buying. Those are already covered.
## Products You’ll Work On
Current products include:

We’re especially focused on angles like:
- At-home manicures that also help your nails heal
- Press-ons damaged your nails? Don’t go bare
- Active girl nails that keep up with gym, Pilates, swimming, running, and real life
- Matching mani + pedi at home
- Skip the $100 salon appointment
- No glue, no UV lamp, no icky fumes, no random pop-offs
- Made, patented, and proven in Korea
## What We’ll Provide
We have:
- Raw product photography
- Raw influencer content
- UGC from product seeding
- Product videos
- A dev team to build pages
- A designer who can execute when given strong direction
- Paid media team / Meta buyer
- Influencer and affiliate pipeline
- Founder/CMO direction
You would not be starting from zero. You would be the U.S. beauty brain that turns the raw material into copy, angles, creative direction, landing page messaging, and content that actually resonates.
## Weekly Deliverables
This can be structured depending on your availability, but the ideal weekly output includes:
- 1 weekly strategy/creative direction call
- Weekly paid ad angle/hook list
- 5-10 ad creative concepts or iterations per week
- 1 landing page angle or page copy direction per week
- Social content/caption direction for 5-7 posts per week
- Review/rewrite of key website, email, and ad copy as needed
- Fast feedback on whether creative sounds “beauty-native” or awkward
- Clear direction for designers/editors so they are not guessing
We care more about taste, speed, and conversion instincts than polished decks.

- Are comfortable working in Slack with fast iteration
- Can work with a founder/CMO who moves quickly and cares deeply about performance

This could start as a fractional/contract role and grow into a larger ongoing role if the fit is strong.
