Chamberlain University, a renowned institution with a 130-year history, is seeking a Part-Time Online Visiting Professor to teach in our Doctorate of Nursing (DNP) online program. As a Visiting Professor, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and experience with students who are passionate about advancing their careers in nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and facilitate online courses, providing regular feedback and guidance to students


• Engage students in meaningful discussions, evaluating their progress and comprehension of course content


• Exhibit Chamberlain Care by displaying behaviors of care, respect, and professionalism, creating a culture that fosters collaboration and respect among all


• Bring your professional experience to life through professional development, introducing industry perspective into courses and sharing information about nursing trends and opportunities with students


• Promote student success by demonstrating flexibility in style, schedule, and exhibiting your passion for teaching

Requirements:

• MSN and DNP or PhD in Nursing degree (doctorate must be conferred)


• Active compact nursing license


• 2+ years of experience as an academic DNP project faculty advisor


• Online teaching experience required


• Illinois RN License will be required to teach all courses


• Excellent written communication skills and familiar with APA


• Outstanding motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
