About the position
- Responsibilities
- Manage Warehouse Supervisors and their teams.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with company, federal, and state regulations regarding safety.
- Track attendance, coach, and lead associates for employee growth and development.
- Direct warehouse activities for efficient utilization of facilities.
- Maintain process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.
- Review and analyze critical success measures and develop improvement plans.
- Respond to production problems with effective solutions.
- Enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Study current and future needs of the company related to warehouse management.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of the department budget and manage to it.
- Ensure cleanliness of the facility.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse management, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with associates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and regulatory compliance matters.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
