Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across New Hampshire? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Special Education Teacher to join our virtual team. Youâll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, youâll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.Key Responsibilities:
⢠Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that IEP goals are met.
⢠Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff.
⢠Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs.
⢠Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth.
⢠Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success.
⢠Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students.
⢠Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications:
⢠Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Special Education.
⢠Active New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification (required).
⢠Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
⢠Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus.
⢠Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans.
⢠Excellent communication and organizational skills.
⢠Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
