Position Summary:
The Integration Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s enterprise integration function, including strategy, architecture, delivery and operational support for system and data integrations. The role oversees integrations across business-critical platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, billing, data and healthcare/clinical systems.
The position combines people leadership, technical oversight and strategic planning to ensure integration is secure, scalable, reliable and aligned with business priorities. The integration manager leads integration initiatives, establishes standards and best practices, and manages the team and vendor relationships needed to support enterprise interoperability and data exchange.
Current Priority focus:
Lead data conversion & integration in support of workday ERP implementation. Qualifications:
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration, software engineering, data integration or related technical roles.
- 3+ years of experience leading integration projects, technical teams or expertise integration initiatives.
- Strong experience designing and supporting integration across enterprise systems, databases and third-party platforms.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns including APIs, ETL, middleware, file-based integrations and event driven workflows.
- Experience with one or more integration or middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, SnapLogic or similar tools.
- Experience with building data pipelines and ETL/ELT jobs in data integration platforms such as SAP data services, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
- Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
- Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, C#, Java or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication, documentation, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience leading integrations for platforms such as Workday, Salesforce, ERP/Financial systems, billing systems or enterprise data platforms.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, EDI or healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, release management and deployment automation for integration solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy and compliance requirements such as HIPPA.
- Experience managing external vendors, consultants or implementation partners.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and design, delivery and support of integrations across enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, vendors and healthcare/ clinical systems.
- Develop and maintain the organization’s integration roadmap, standards and architectural approach for API’s, ETL/data movement, event-based integrations and middleware solutions.
- Manage and mentor integration team members, providing technical direction, workload oversight, coaching and development support.
- Oversee end to end integrations project including planning, prioritization, requirements clarification, solution, design, testing, deployment and operational transition.
- Partner with application owners, analysts, architects, data teams and business stakeholders to define integration needs and align solutions with organizational priorities.
- Provide technical leadership for complex integration initiatives, including enterprise system implementations, data conversion efforts and cross platform interoperability.
- Establish and enforce standards for documentation, monitoring, alerting, error handling, support processes and production stability.
- Ensure integration solutions follow enterprise requirements for security, privacy, access controls, auditability and data governance.
- Oversee vendor and partner integration work including coordination, technical review, issue resolution and alignment with internal standards.
- Support troubleshooting and escalation management for high priority integration issues, failures and data quality concerns.
