YouTube Video Editor – 20 Min Long-Form (Minimalist Stick Figure Style)
I’m hiring an intermediate YouTube editor for a long-form (~3,000 words / 19–24 min) psychological authority-style video.
This is NOT a fast-cut, high-energy YouTube edit.
The tone is:
- Minimalist
- Controlled
- Atmospheric
- Intellectually heavy
- Calm but tense
Visual style will be stick-figure based, symbolic, and abstract — not cinematic live-action footage.
Think: clean black/neutral backgrounds, simple figures, subtle movement, strong atmosphere.
⸻
Scope of Work
- Generate high-quality AI voiceover (ElevenLabs or similar – natural, human tone)
- Edit full 18–22 minute video
- Use 10–15 strong minimalist stick-figure compositions
- Slow, subtle zoom/pan movement (Ken Burns style)
- Layer atmospheric sound design (ambient drones, subtle tension beds)
- Clean, minimal typography (no flashy kinetic text)
- Export final video in 4K (3840x2160)
Visuals must feel intentional and restrained — not cartoonish, not comedic.
Stick figures should feel universal and symbolic, not playful.

What I’m Looking For
You must be comfortable with:
- Long-form pacing (20 minutes)
- Letting shots breathe (20–40 seconds when appropriate)
- Subtle camera motion
- Strong sound layering and audio leveling
- Minimalist composition
If your style is heavy motion graphics, loud transitions, or rapid cutting — this is not the right fit.
⸻
Budget
$200 fixed price
Potential for ongoing work if this goes well.
⸻
Turnaround
3–4 days max after script delivery.
⸻
To Apply
1. Share 1–2 long-form minimalist or documentary-style edits.
2. Confirm experience generating natural AI voiceover.
3. Briefly describe how you would approach pacing for a 20-minute psychological essay with stick figures.
