About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to leverage relationships across the enterprise.
  • Manage the seven steps of the sourcing process including Spend analysis, Market Research, Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing Strategy, RFX Management, Bid Analysis, and Contract Management.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and their core competencies using industry cost models.
  • Conduct RFX development and execution, proposal evaluation, and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Perform analysis of financial and business data related to supplier proposals and capability assessments.
  • Develop, manage, and lead cross-functional teams (CFT) in strategic sourcing processes.
  • Negotiate contract terms with suppliers at the Senior Management level.
  • Execute contracts in liaison with the Legal and Contract Management Team.
  • Create sourcing strategies to acquire materials and services at the right price and quality.
  • Execute supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers.
  • Support the growth of the Supply Chain Management practice by contributing to collateral development and methodology.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Strategic Sourcing.
  • Knowledge of legal language and terminologies related to contracting.
    Nice-to-haves
  • Master's degree.
  • IT Sourcing, Supply chain or Procurement experience.
  • Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma.
  • Ability to define and develop work products and deliverables.
  • Ability to support engagement in conducting interviews and coordinating business workshops.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Ability to lead meetings/conference calls and give presentations to large audiences.
