Precision Analog Systems - EMI / Grounding Debug - Resumes to: [email protected]

We're tackling a high-precision analog challenge - and we're looking for the right mind to help solve it.

Our engineering team is working through a complex debug effort involving low-level current and voltage measurement in electrically noisy environments.

The system environment is similar to medical-grade instrumentation - where microvolt-level signal integrity matters and EMI, grounding topology, and layout decisions can make or break performance.

We are seeking a consultant with real-world, hands-on experience solving:
  • Electromagnetic coupling issues
  • Ground loop and reference instability problems
  • Shielding and isolation architecture challenges
  • Mixed-signal PCB noise mitigation
  • Measurement integrity under industrial EMI conditions
  • This is not theoretical modeling work.

We need someone who has successfully debugged and solved these problems in the field.

If this sounds like you - or someone you know - please reach out directly: [email protected]

Precision matters.

Job Description (Immediate hire)

Location: Flexible (Remote + On-Site as Needed)

Duration: Project-Based

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced analog systems consultant to assist with debugging and resolving electromagnetic interference (EMI) and grounding-related noise issues in a precision measurement platform.

The system measures extremely small currents and low-level voltages in electrically noisy industrial environments. Performance requirements demand medical-grade signal integrity.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve low-level analog signal noise
  • Analyze grounding topology and reference stability
  • Identify EMI coupling paths
  • Review PCB layout for mixed-signal noise susceptibility
  • Recommend shielding, isolation, and filtering strategies
  • Support hands-on bench-level debug using instrumentation
  • Guide engineering team toward permanent architecture improvements
    Required Experience
  • 5+ years in precision analog or instrumentation design
  • Demonstrated success resolving EMI/grounding issues
    Experience in:
  • Medical instrumentation
  • Industrial measurement systems
  • Mixed-signal PCB environments
  • Strong oscilloscope and spectrum analysis expertise
  • Practical shielding and grounding implementation knowledge
    Ideal Background
  • Biomedical instrumentation
  • High-voltage measurement systems
  • Scientific instrumentation
  • Industrial sensing platforms
  • Signal conditioning & low-noise amplifier design
