Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement daily curriculum according to developmentally appropriate practices and responsive caregiving principles
- Develop and implement emergent and project-based curriculum, assessing and documenting child progress
- Mentor and supervise early childhood preservice teachers, student employees, and other staff members
- Establish and maintain meaningful partnerships with children, families, colleagues, university faculty and staff, and the community
- Collaborate with university researchers to support the production of new knowledge in the field of early childhood care and education

Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of early childhood education experience
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment)
- Knowledge of child growth and development, learning theories, and effective learning environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment
