Full-Stack Mobile Developer — Social / Matching App (React Native + Supabase) - Contract to Hire

I'm building a premium mobile social connection app — a full-stack React Native build targeting iOS and Android simultaneously. The product is not a swipe app. It uses a proprietary compatibility scoring engine to deliver curated weekly matches to members, with structured messaging that feed back into the algorithm

Skills required: React Native (Expo), Node.js + Express or NestJS, PostgreSQL via Supabase (auth, real-time, RLS), Firebase FCM, Stripe Identity or Persona for ID verification, OpenAI API, Mixpanel or Amplitude. Published App Store and Google Play experience is non-negotiable.

How I work: Weekly 30-minute video check-ins. Milestone-based payments via Upwork escrow — you are never chasing an invoice. Full spec, Figma wireframes, database schema, and matching algorithm documentation are provided after NDA signing. I expect daily GitHub commits and proactive communication when blockers arise. I do not need to be taught the product — I need someone who can execute a well-defined spec and owns their work end to end.
