About the position
- Responsibilities
- Oversee functions related to accounts payable, including processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Review expense submissions for compliance with firm policies and manage expense systems.
- Maintain accurate cash records and manage relationships with banks and accounts.
- Improve accounting procedures and internal control systems to streamline cash management.
- Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements and handle other projects as requested by senior management.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a CPA certification being a priority.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the VC/PE sector.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized multi-tasker with a commitment towards continual learning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
