Senior Analyst, Risk Management and Insurance - Remote Opportunity in Clarksville, USA
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Risk Management and Insurance team at 3M. As a Senior Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and innovative team, making a significant impact on our organization's risk management and insurance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data to inform insurance decisions and support risk management initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and regulatory teams, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage claims activities, including working with insurers, claims adjusters, and external counsel
- Evaluate risk financing strategies, including self-insurance and captive feasibility
- Oversee global clinical trials insurance program and ensure timely issuance of insurance certificates and auto ID cards
- Conduct data and risk analysis for programs, as needed
- Manage corporate insurance program for both renewals and new placements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Risk Management (completed and verified prior to start date)
- At least 2 years of risk management experience, preferably with a global organization in a private, public, government, or military environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex data sets
- Applies critical thinking skills to understand and organize complex operations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with a strong sense of follow-up and completion
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
