About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Answer clinical phone calls from patients, family, or outside facilities.
  • Perform administrative tasks including triaging calls and resolving call issues.
  • Schedule appointments and request/obtain medical records.
  • Escalate urgent information as necessary.
  • Propose orders for diagnostics and lab orders.
  • Propose prescription refills.
  • Fill out and send medical documents.
  • Assist with email and patient portal communication.
  • Ensure no delays in patient care by responding promptly to requests.
    Requirements
  • High School Diploma, Certification of Completion, GED, Training, Experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Emergency Medical Technician certification.
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant certification.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
  • Registered Medical Assistant certification.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Must have at least one of the required licenses/certifications (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT).
  • BLS required for all.
  • CNA, LPN, EMT license must be from Florida.
  • Must be professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
  • Possess a passionate demeanor and high ethical standards.
  • HIPAA/OSHA compliance required.
    Nice-to-haves
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • EKG and Phlebotomy Certifications required for employees with the CNA license only.
